Several Banks in Public and Private sector in India are recruiting their employees through various exams. These exams consist of Written Tests, Group Discussions and Personal Interviews etc. Nearly 20 to 30 notifications are out every single year across the country. Except one or a two, the written tests of all banks unique with slight differences in exam pattern, eligibility, interview and training process. Selection Process: Selection process in all bank exams is same as it consists of written tests group discussions and personal Interviews. Only a few banks recruit through interviews in the absence of written tests and group discussions.

Exam Pattern / Scheme of Exam: Quantitative / Numerical Aptitude, Reasoning Ability, English Language, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge are very common subjects to test in bank written tests. But the difficulty level of questions may vary from test to test. Besides these, Marketing Aptitude, Data Interpretation and Banking /Financial Awareness are raising common subjects to test basic professional knowledge in the bank exams. Online / Offline Tests: In written tests earlier there were paper based tests where candidates practicing the darkening of circles. Now all most all banks migrated to Online Tests called Computer Based Tests. In these tests to answer candidates need to select the radial button against the correct answer and then submit the test finally. In CBTs once can avail up to 20 minutes of time which was used to darken the circles. 

Descriptive Test: Except one or two all institutions revised the exam pattern and detached the Descriptive test paper. 

Interview: Interview is common in all bank exams which tend to analyse the personality in 5 to 10 minutes if he/she suits the position or not. 

Preparation Strategy: As all elements in Bank exams are same, one’s preparation should be useful to all recruitment tests. Only the difficulty level may vary from post to post and bank to bank.
