NABARD: Assistant Managers in Grade ‘A’ - Rural Development Banking Service (RDBS) Exam Details

Eligibility Criteria (As on the date mentioned in notification)
Educational Qualifications: 
(i) A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent grade OR
(ii) Master’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks or an equivalent OR
(iii) A Doctorate Degree OR
(iv) Chartered/ Cost Accountants / Company Secretary (ACS) with a Bachelor's Degree OR
(v) PG Diploma in Management / MBA
Note: SC/ST/PWD candidates having second class with a minimum of 45% or an equivalent grade are eligible to apply 

Age Limit: Between 21 years and 30 years
Note: Upper age limit is relaxable by 03 years in case of eligible OBC and a maximum of 05 years in case of SC/ST & Ex-servicemen and 10 years for PWD (UR); 13 years for PWD (OBC) and 15 years for PWD (SC/ST) applicants. 

Selection Process
Assistant Manager in Grade ‘A’ (Except for Asst. Manager (Protocol and Security Service) and Manager in Grade ‘B’ (RDBS) the selection will be in three Phases i.e. Preliminary Exam (Objective type), Main Examination (descriptive) and Interview.

(For AM in Grade ‘A’ (RDBS), AM in Rajbhasha and AM in Legal Service and Manager in Grade 'B' RDBS)

Phase III: Interview: Applicants qualifying in the Phase-II Examination and securing sufficiently high rank in merit shall be short-listed for interview. 

Emoluments and Service ConditionsPay Scale: Assistant Managers (Grade ‘A’): Selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs.17100/- p.m. in the scale of 17100-1000(11) - 28100-EB- 1000(4)-32100-1100(1)- 33200 applicable to Officers in Grade 'A' and they will be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Family Allowance, and Grade Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments are approximately Rs.40562/- p.m. The pay scales are due for an upward revision.
